Q2. Does the school offer scholarships/benefits for meritorious performers?

Ans. Yes. Students securing the following aggregate percentages in their Class X Board Exams will be awarded scholarships for Class XI:

Provisional Scholarships

Provisional scholarships are granted at the time of admission based on Class X Pre-Board performance.

  • Students securing 85% to 89.9% in the Pre-Board examinations will be eligible for a 20% provisional scholarship of the tuition fee.
  • Students securing 80% to 84.9% in the Pre-Board examinations will be eligible for a 15% provisional scholarship of the tuition fee.
  • These provisional scholarships (15% and 20%) will also be subject to review and adjustment (continuation, upgradation, downgrading, or termination) following the declaration of the final Class 10 CBSE/ICSE Board results, as per the prescribed scholarship criteria.

Note: The aggregate percentage will be calculated based on marks obtained in Science, Math, Social Science, English, and one additional language. Marks from additional subjects will not be considered.

Once the final CBSE/ICSE Board results are declared, the provisional scholarship will be reviewed strictly as per the approved scholarship slabs. Based on the final aggregate, the scholarship may be continued, upgraded, downgraded, or withdrawn, without any claim for retrospective adjustment.

Scholarship Continuation & New Eligibility (Class XII)

  • Students who receive a scholarship in Class XI will continue to receive the same scholarship in Class XII if they secure 85% or above in Class XI.
  • Students who did not receive any scholarship in Class XI may become eligible for a 15% tuition fee scholarship in Class XII, provided they secure an overall aggregate of 85% or above in Class XI, subject to meeting the school’s academic and conduct requirements.

Special Cash Award

Any student securing an aggregate of 99% or above in CBSE Class X or XII will be honoured with the prestigious Lala Gobind Ram Ahuja Cash Award of ₹1,01,000, along with formal recognition.

Q3. Are scholarships available before Board results are declared?

Ans. Yes. Provisional scholarships are offered based on Pre-Board performance and are revised after the declaration of the final Board results.

Q4. What are the school working days and timings?

Ans. The school follows a five-day working week (Monday to Friday).

Summer Timings (1-Feb to 14-Dec) 7:15 a.m. - 2:10 p.m.
Winter Timings (15-Dec to 31-Jan) 7:45 a.m. - 2:20 p.m.

Special Provision

Classes XI & XII : To support focused self-study and external academic preparation, students of the Science stream will be dispersed at 12:50 p.m. and Commerce & Humanities stream will be dispersed at 01:25 p.m.

Science stream students may avail the school transport facility at 12:50 PM. The school transport facility is also available for Commerce and Humanities stream students; however, they are required to remain on school campus until 2:10 PM.

Q5. Is admission guaranteed once the registration form is submitted?

Ans. No. Submission of the registration form does not guarantee admission. All applications are carefully scrutinized based on academic performance, after which shortlisted candidates are invited for an online interaction. Admission is offered only to students who meet the prescribed criteria.

Q6. How will I know that my registration form has been successfully submitted?

Ans. A confirmation email with a unique registration number will be sent upon successful submission of the registration form.

Q7. Can the registration form be filled using a mobile phone?

Ans. Yes. The registration form is fully compatible with Android, iOS, and Windows mobile devices.

Q8. Can the registration form be saved and completed later?

Ans. No. The registration form must be completed in one session, as there is no provision to save a partially filled application.

Q9. Which Pre-Board examination marks should be entered in the registration form?

Ans. Applicants may enter marks from any Pre-Board examination conducted by their school (First, Second, or Third). The best aggregate, including a combination of the best subject-wise scores across different Pre-Board examinations, may be entered.

Q10. What career guidance support does the school provide?

Ans. The school offers structured career counselling sessions, expert interactions, workshops, and exposure programmes to help students make informed academic and career choices.

Q11. Are Vivekanand School D-Block Anand Vihar and Vivekanand Public School B-Block Anand Vihar the same institution?

Ans. No. Vivekanand School and Vivekanand Public School are two separate and independent institutions, with no association with one another.
