1. Leader of The Year 2022:Our visionary and pragmatic Chairman of Vivekanand School, Sh. Pradyumn Ahuja Ji was conferred with the Education Leader of The Year 2022 Award by Education World for Holistic Education Excellence & Institution Development held on 21st December, 2022.

2. School Excellence Award: Vivekanand School, D Block Anand Vihar was honoured as being among the 'Top 500 Schools in India' and was conferred the prestigious 'School Excellence Award' for the year 2022- 23 in a plethora of categories; viz Excellence in Innovative Practices, Excellence in Digital Technology Initiative, Excellence in life skill and Excellence in Career Guidance at the 10th National Conference.

3. Education World Award: At a scintillating event on 12th October 2022, our worthy institution was bestowed with the Numerouno title of being #Rank1 in Delhi and the NCR region and #Rank10 at the National level. Our school received the Certificate of 'A great school to work with' at this event.

  • Sehaj Kaur Bhatia, an accomplished tenth-grade student, has garnered significant attention for her remarkable achievement of compiling her poems into a published book titled "From Poems To Perspectives." Her literary prowess has not only gained recognition locally but also on an international level, leading to her being honoured as an award-winning artist.
  • A group of 39 talented writers known as the Vivians Litterateurs have captivated readers with their imaginative stories, which have been beautifully compiled into two published books: "The Color Of Dreams" and "Beyond The Bridge Of Words," both published by Scholastic.
  • These literary works showcase the collective creativity and literary prowess of the Vivians Litterateurs.
  • 12 students of class X secured a perfect 100 in the National Mathematics Olympiad 2023-24, while ?? students from classes I-X achieved a remarkable score ranging from 90-99%.
  • Two exceptional students from our school, Shreeyash Khandelwal and Vaibhav Tripathi of ninth grade, achieved a remarkable feat by securing a place among the top eight exhibits out of a total of 109 exhibits from all over India at the CBSE National Level Science Exhibition. Their hard work and dedication were evident as they meticulously prepared and presented their science model under the themes of science and technology and environmental concerns, respectively.   • Alumnus Romil Singh Donk, cracked the Civil Services Examination 2020. Bagging the 175th rank, he accomplished the nation's most coveted honour - to be an IAS.
  • Bhavik Bansal of Vivekanand School set a milestone by securing AIR 1 in AIIMS 2019 (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) MBBS Entrance Exam. He also made everyone proud by securing the glorious AIR 2 in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET UG 2019 (formerly known as All India Pre-Medical Test - AIPMT), which was held in the month of May 2019.
  • Vivekanand School ranked 3rd globally at the Prestigious Asian Math Circuit 'Clash of π' Domain Cauchy contest conducted Online between June- August, 2021.
  • Anushka Sharma of class XI, secured Rank 1 at the 'International Olympiad for English Language' organised by the Silver Zone Foundation. She was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 7500/-.
  • Ujith Udaya Kumar, a rising prodigy in instrumental music, got a distinguished opportunity to attend the Pradhan Mantri innovative learning program titled "DHRUV", organised by MHRD. The 15 days program was launched at ISRO, Bangalore and was attended by 60 students across India, 30 from sciences and 30 from performing arts. All the proud participants had a privilege to perform in the event with renowned personalities like Mohit Chauhan, Shivamani, Hans Raj Hans, for which they were bestowed with the title of "DHRUV TARA" by the Hon'ble Vice president of India Sri. Venkaya Naidu.

A. The parent society, Vivekanand Shiksha Samiti runs two schools:

A. Vivekanand School, D- Block, Anand Vihar and Vivekanand Public School, B- Block, Anand Vihar are two separate entities having no association with one another.

Q.4. What are the timings of the school?

A. The timings of the school are:

  • 7:45am-12:45pm (Pre-School- Class V)

Q.5. Are Saturdays working for the students?

A. The school functions on :

  • Monday to Friday for Pre-School & Pre-Primary classes
  • Monday to Saturday for Std I–V

(Second Saturdays and the last working day of each month are off for all classes)

Q.6. What security and safety measures are in place in your school?

A. Safety and Security of the students is of paramount importance and concern for us. We, very efficiently have been carrying the onus of providing a safe and secure environment to each and every child who enters the school premises. A few of the safety measures being practised very religiously to ensure every child's well-being are:

  • 24X7 CCTV surveillance across the school campus.
  • The anti- climb measures for the entire boundary wall.
  • The school building is not accessible to any drivers, conductors, gardeners, etc. Separate washroom, restroom and area for drinking water have been provided to them.
  • All washrooms of Primary wing are supervised by lady attendants.
  • The credentials of all our teaching and non-teaching staff have been verified by the Police Department.
  • The use of ACCESS CARDS (to monitor entry into the premises of the school) has made our school's security system further flawless and never-failing.
  • 100% staff is vaccinated against Covid-19.
  • There are anti- climb measures for the entire boundary wall.

Q.7. Are the classrooms air conditioned?

A. Yes, the classrooms of Pre-School to Class V are air-conditioned to ensure adequate comfort to the children in the summer months. They are also ventilated for the child to experience utmost comfort.

Q.8. Are there air purifiers installed in the classrooms?

A. Yes, the classrooms of Pre-School to Class V are installed with air- purifiers to ensure clean and healthy environment at school.

Q.9. Are there smart boards installed in the classrooms?

A. Yes, smart boards are installed in the classrooms of Pre-School to Class V.

Q.10. How well equipped are your junior classrooms?

A. Our junior classrooms are well lit, bright, fully furnished, air-conditioned and equipped with air purifiers, smart boards and sensory boards.

Q.11. Are CCTV Cameras also installed in the classrooms?

A. Yes, CCTV Cameras are installed in all the classrooms from Pre-School to Class V.
